CONCLUSION
Decisions regarding the trial proceedings and strategy must ultimately lie with the attorney. The reality is that someone has to make a decision when two people disagree. The attorney has (hopefully) more knowledge about the process and the law and is also more objective. He is in a better position to make an informed, intelligent decision without undue influence of emotion.
